Join us on February 21 at 7:00 pm for a WAIC gathering!
Our WAIC gathering is an excellent place to connect with others and join in the movement to make Wilsonville a diverse, equitable, and inclusive community! Come enjoy snacks and music, and get to know each other while we talk about how we can advance and support this work in our community.
Location: Clackamas County Community College - Wilsonville Campus (29353 SW Town Center Loop E)
Please contact us at connect@wilsonvillealliance.org if you are interested in coming. We would love to see you there!
We gather on a bi-monthly basis (3rd Wednesday of the month) to do the following:
Take part in an activity that deepens our understanding of each other and diversity, equity, and inclusion in Wilsonville.
Eat snacks and enjoy music.
Talk about ongoing events and how we can support each other.
Talk about the operations of the organization, set goals, and plan to work together to achieve them.
BIG ASK FOR 2024
We’re going to need others to step into roles to represent the organization and keep the wheels running. If you are interested, please read the position descriptions and reach out to me if you would like to discuss this further. We’re going to talk about this on February 21.
The "Housing & Belonging" event has been rescheduled to February 29 at 7:00 pm, we hope to see you there!
Housing and homelessness is a visible and divisive issue in local media, politics, and across every community in Oregon. Many experienced housing instability and economic uncertainty even during the “boom” times before the current crisis. This conversation will explore assumptions and perspectives about the experience of homelessness and seek to answer the question...How do we decide who “belongs” in our community?
